Will The Progressive Dynamics Control Center Work The 12 Volt Accessories Without Shore Power

Question:

I had a question about: Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 35 Amp Item # PD4135K I understand that this converter will run DC circuits and charge the battery. My question is, if I use the DC panel to run the circuits to my accessories, will the battery still run those accessories by routing power through the unit even I am NOT connected to shore/AC power? Or do I need to run separate circuits to my accessories directly from the battery AND from this unit? I hope this makes sense, I read through all of the QandAs but couldnt find what I needed. Thank you for your help.

Yes, any 12 volt power accessory is going to function as long as the battery/batteries are charged even if you are not connected to shore power. You want to run the 12 volt accessories through the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 35 Amp Item # PD4135K because the circuit from the accessory needs to be fused. The converter is designed to accept 12 volt accessory sources as well as 120 volt shore power and knows when you provide what power. Keep in mind, if you use your 12 volt accessories without being connected to shore power, your battery/batteries are not going to last long.
