Correct Front Mount Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Freedom Elite Motorhome

Question:

I am looking at the Curt 31114inch front mount receiver that mounts behind the bumper and bolts where the tow hooks mount. I have a 2016 Freedom elite motor home it is on a ford E-450 super duty frame. I do not have the tow hooks but the place where they mount are there and that is what the bumper mounts to. When the speck sheet says that it only works on the f-XXX with 34inch frame inside frame rails? I do not really want to put the lower receiver that you cut out the mud guard, would rather use the one that goes through the bumper cut out in center the way the 31114 receiver does. Will the 31114 work on my unit? I know I have to drill more mounting holes.

The correct front mount trailer hitch for a 2016 Freedom Elite Motorhome on Ford E-450 Cutaway Chassis is the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65053. This is the only available option for this chassis.

It seems like you were looking at front mount hitches for a F-Series and not the E-Series which is where the confusion lies.
