What is the thicknessheight of the straight base on the Curt # C 60627 gooseneck ball? The overall height and installed height are given but not the height of the base. Thank you for your assistance.

Since the overall height of the Curt Pop-In Ball # C60627 is 7-7/8 and the installed height is 5-1/8 inches, then the base alone would measure 2-3/4 inches.
