Are There 3,500 lb Capacity 10 x 2-1/4 Electric Trailer Brakes

Question:

I recently bought a trailer that was damaged in a forest fire. Just the left side was damaged. I feel I should replace both left side brake assemblies. Is there an option to buy 2-3500lb @ 10x 2-1/4 assemblies? If so can you send me a link please?

I'm certainly sorry to hear about the damage your trailer took in the fire, but thankfully it sounds like the damage was limited to just one side, and it is definitely a smart idea to replace your trailer brakes. We also do have exactly what you need, which is 3,500 lb capacity electric trailer brakes that are 10 inches x 2-1/4 inches.

For just the left hand side, for a tandem axle trailer you will need two of the Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left Hand - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35L-SA.

Depending on how old or worn your brakes are, you may want to consider replacing all four of the assemblies as well, which you can do with two of the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Left and Right Hand Assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA.

These come with everything but the nuts and lock washers, so for that you will just need the Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.

That hardware is enough for two assemblies so if you decide to replace all four you would need a quantity of two for the hardware. I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like.
