Is Optronics Ultra-Thin 11 Diode LED Utility Light, Part # BUL69CB, Bright Enough for Utility Use?
Question:
I am looking to install this on the side of my horse trailer for a some extra light while I working outside the trailer. Is this considered just a marker light or a utility light. It is hard to see how much light it casts in the video.

The Optronics Ultra-Thin 11 Diode LED Utility Light, Part # BUL69CB, is intended for use as a general purpose trailer utility light.
Typically most clearance/marker light assemblies are amber in color and only use between 2 and 6 diodes; this utility light uses 11 diodes.
Its sealed and waterproof 1-piece compact housing makes it ideal for use on the exterior of your horse trailer. LED-type lights use only a small fraction of the power required by incandescent bulbs, and this unit draws only 0.100 amps at 12.8 volts. The 11 diodes in this light carry a lifetime warranty.
We do offer a brighter 24-diode utility light in a round format, Optronics LED Domed Utility/Multipurpose Light - 24 Diode - Sealed, part # ILL24CB. This unit uses more than twice the number of LEDs and draws only 0.120 amps at 12.8 volts. This 6-1/8 x 7/8 inch thick housing is also sealed and waterproof, and the LEDs again carry a lifetime warranty. I have included a video on this lighting product.
