Could MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent Be Powered from Trailer Wiring and Not Drain Battery When Off
Question:
I want to keep my trailer from overheating on long trips to protect my equipment. Will this only run when the truck is running?

To power the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent part # MA00-07500K through trailer wiring you'd use the 12 volt accessory circuit normally which on some vehicles stays active when the vehicle is off but sometimes turns off.
You'd have to test this circuit on your vehicle with a circuit tester like part # PTW2997 to see if it stays active when the vehicle is off. On a 7-way the circuit you are looking for is in the 1:00 position.
If it's active all the time you could use the part # PK5231201 to allow it to only be active when the vehicle is on.
