Can I Haul 6,000 lbs With My 2020 Ram 3500 When Using The 34 Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45292?
Question:
I have a dually truck that I use to tow a slide-in cab over camper on the bed of the truck, and I use a Titan 41-48inch hitch extension to tow a boat behind it I use the 48. So far Ive towed a boat weighing 4000lbs without problems, but I have desires go tow a heavier trailer behind this set up which leads me to the need of a weight distribution hitch. My main question is, would this weight distribution hitch be able to distribute the weight properly using the 48 inch hitch extension from the rear of my truck? Please advise. Thank you. The other trailer I plan on towing will be an enclosed trailer with a side by side inside weighting approximately 5000-6000lbs.

In order for this to work, you will need a weight distribution system like this one # FA92-00-0800 to use with your hitch adapter # RP45018. Now, with the weight distribution system you can have a Maximum GTW of 6,000 lbs at 34". This is perfect for hauling your side by side and enclosed trailer.
