Is There a Thule Van Ladder Rack That Can Be Drilled and Bolted To a Roof
Question:
I have a 1986 Volvo wagon 240 series. Power house car! I use it to haul lumber and just recently broke the roof rack. I need a roof rack that I CAN drill into the roof that hold up to 500lbs of lumber. I would like the adjustable Thule TracRac Slotted Crossbars. Is any of this possible? Thanks

Yes, the Thule TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack part # TH29200XT is a universal ladder rack that requires drilling into the roof for installation. It can support up to 500 lbs though you will be limited by the roof capacity if lower.
