The Pro Series Weight Distribution System # 49570 you referenced for your 2010 Toyota Tundra 5.7 Double Cab should work, but you will need to know the GTW and the tongue weight of your trailer when it is fully loaded as well as the weight of the cargo behind the rear axle of your truck bed. You will want to choose a weight distribution system that has a tongue weight range that will encompass your trailers tongue weight when fully loaded.

The weight of the cargo behind the rear axle will contribute to the tongue weight of the weight distribution system. For example, given the differences in tongue weight for your trailer (700 lbs) and for the weight distribution system you referenced (1200 lbs), you may want to go with a slightly lower-rated system for better effectiveness if 700 lbs is your tongue weight when fully loaded.

If you need a hitch ball, you might want to go with the 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286 rated for a GTW of 12,000 lbs or with the 2 inch ball # A-90 with a GTW capacity of 10,000 lbs.

To further prevent sway issues with your trailer, I recommend the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660. It attaches to your weight distribution system to provides additional resistance to help prevent your trailer from swaying. I have provided links to the instructions for the proper installation of this item as well as a video showing the installation.

I have provided a link to our FAQ page on choosing the proper weight distribution system as well as a link to our FAQ page on determining tongue weight.
