Replacement Hub and Drum with Bearings for Lippert NV155773 Axle with 5200-lbs Capacity
Question:
I have a Lippert NV 155773 axle on a Monarco Fiffth wheel. My Atec drum has bad bearings, race and they are very difficult to source if not impossible. Will a dexter hub fit my Lippert axle I have elect. breaks and currently the inner and outer bearingsa re the same size on Aztec drums No numbers on the bearings. Thank you, Desperate...

I was able to reach out to my contact at Lippert, who was able to provide me with the specs of your NV 155773 axle, however it doesn't look like the bearings that were on this hub and spindle configuration are the same ones for the inner and outer bearing.
This particular axle uses the # 25580 inner bearing and # LM67048 outer bearing, so you'll want to use a hub that uses those same bearings (or the same sized bearings) as a replacement. You can use a Dexter hub like the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5,200-lb Axles - 12" Diameter - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-5UC3, which is designed for standard axles like yours. This is a complete hub and drum assembly that comes pre-greased and with all of the bearings, races and seal included for your 2007 Monaco 5th wheel.
If you also need to replace the brakes, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA are a self adjusting brake assembly that I recommend using, since after you install them there isn't any further maintenance required until it's time to replace them. These brakes don't come with mounting hardware, but you can add that with # BRKH12.
If your wheels are a different bolt pattern, just let me know and I can see what might be available to match.
