Parts Needed to Install 7-Way on 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

Hello. I have a 2018 F-150 that has no tow package on it currently. I have no trailer plug connector that I can see at all on or near the bumper and no hitch. Looking for a 7 pin trailer harness and trying to understand how I would install if there is no trailer plug currently there. Any help or product suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your 2018 Ford F-150 should at the very least have a 4-way trailer connector that you can plug into the # 37185 and have a functional 7-way.

If you need to activate either the brake controller or 12 volt accessory wire circuit of the 7-way the wiring is present at a wiring harness near the rear of the truck on the frame rail as well like what you can see in the attached picture.

For a hitch the etrailer # e98871 would be a really great option.
