Will a Bike Rack Mount In The End of The Cargo Carrier When Mounted On The Vehicle

Question:

can i put this carrier into the reciever on the car and put the bike rack into this carrier, or is it a solid cover over the 2 inch pipe towards the rear.

I do have an option for you but the etrailer.com # e98874 Cargo carrier will not accept a hitch mounted bike rack in the end. At this time we do not carry a cargo carrier that is designed to carry a bike rack or tow behind it. The added weight and distance from the vehicle would increase the tongue weight dramatically and cause an unsafe condition.

I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider with cargo basket # HR1450Z-85. It will provide a 2 bike carrier and a cargo carrier in one unit.
