Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack that Fits 2006 Honda CR-V without Raised Side Rails  

Question:

I currently have the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, but I now have a new car 2006 Honda CR-V I’m not sure what fit kit to purchase. The car currently has factory crossbars. But the roof rails aren’t raised off the roof like in the picture for “bare roof “ or “roof rails” option. The fit kit options for my car look like they are meant to clamp from both sides, which I don’t think is possible on my roof rails since they are raised, but, have no space in between the car and the rail. Difficult to explain what I mean.

What you have on your 2006 Honda CR-V would be more or less a flush rail but the Rhino Rack fit for it would be considered a naked roof fit. The components you'd need to install a Rhino Rack Vortex roof rack would be the part # RRVA126B-2, # RRRCH4, and # RRRCP01-BK. You most likely have the bars at least already.
