Is Installation of a Trailer Hitch on a 2009 BMW X5 the Same as a 2011 X5
Question:
do you have a video for a 2009 X5 instead of the 2011, or is it basically the same?

We have not yet had a 2009 BMW X5 in to install trailer hitch # 75600. However, like you have said, it is essentially an identical installation on a 2009 as it is for the 2011 in the video, linked for reference. The reason that the installations are so similar is because a 2009 is the same generation as the 2011 though there may be some subtle differences. I have also included a link to the installation instructions for you.
If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # AMSC2 and you can use pin and clip # PC3. For a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 119250KIT. I have linked a video and instructions for the wiring as well.
