Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2008 Keystone Raptor Toy Hauler Towed with Short Bed Truck

Question:

Looking at purchasing one of these hitches just wondering if the extra leverage would cause more stress on the kingpin and fifth wheel frame? I have a 2011 Dodge ram 2500 short bed crew cab four-wheel drive. Also worried about how much turning radius I would achieve.measurements or approximately 52 in from the center of the kingpin to the corner of the front cap of the fifth wheel. Measurements from the back rail to the cab of the truck is 51 - 6 in they tell you to subtract. So 45 i.in your guyss professional opinion I wonder how much turning radius I can achieve?the fifth wheel is a 2008 keystone Raptor toy hauler 299 MP. Thanks its always nice dealing with etrailer.

I looked up your 2008 keystone Raptor toy hauler 299 MP and the nose of the trailer is not tapered at all so I would not assume you'd have turning clearance with the Andersen # AM3200 as a fifth wheel hitch solution in the bed of your truck.

You'd need a slider fifth wheel hitch instead like the Reese # RP30051 which is lighter weight for a slider hitch at 147 lbs.
