What Circuit on Trailer 7-Way Does Curt Echo Mobile Draw Power From

Where do I hook the wire up to so I can use the curt echo on my f150? I know I need to wire it to the battery, but where do I hook that wire too? Do I splice it into the 7way on my truck? If so, what wire do I splice it too? I tried connecting it to the orange wire, but that didnt work?

The Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 draws power from the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way which is the pin in the 1:00 position.

So if on your 2015 Ford F-150 this circuit wasn't active you'd need to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot through a breaker like the # 9510 between the 1:00 pin of the 7-way and the positive battery post on the truck.
