I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # F2701 for your 2006 Ram 3500 dually, which are compatible with your Curt gooseneck hitch and won't require any fabrications or mods to install. These are a heavy duty air bag system that provide up to 7500-lbs of support for your suspension system, which ultimately help prolong the life of these components that might otherwise be exposed to some heavy loads in the truck bed or when towing.
When it comes to airbag systems, I recommend adding a compressor system like the Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Heavy Duty Compressor - Dual Function - 150 psi # F2219, which will allow you to keep your air bags filled and adjust from the comfort of your truck cab. This is a dual path system that allows for adjustment of each air bag individually, so it provides you with both convenience and flexibility.
I've linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to have a look at.
