Trailer Wiring Harness Installation Location on a 2010 Lexus RX 350 with Factory Tow Package
Question:
I am not sure if I have the towing package or not. Where does this plug in? For example, is it under the rear fascia? I have a 2010 Lexus RX350.

The connection point for trailer wiring harness # 56083 is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver side. I have included a picture and a link to the instructions that show this for you.
That connection point may be there even if the vehicle does not have the factory tow package. The easiest way to determine how the vehicle is equipped is to call a dealer service department and have them run the VIN through their system. They can tell you if you have the tow package or not.
If you do not have the tow package then you will need to use # 118478. I have linked a video and instructions for it as well.
