Looking for smart car receiver for hitch. smart car Two, year 2015 , but registration says 2016.

If you are certain that your Smart fortwo is a 2015 model year, then the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, Class I # C11020 is the only receiver hitch available for your vehicle.

This trailer hitch has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening with a max towing capacity of 2,000lbs with a max tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. I have linked an installation video of this hitch on a 2013 fortwo for you to review.

If you are not certain about the model year of your fortwo, you can use your 17-digit VIN to determine the year. The 8th character (may be a number or letter) from the end of the VIN will indicate the model-year of your vehicle. Once you know the number or letter in this location of the VIN, you can use a VIN decoder chart online to determine the year.
