Question:

Im wanting to add an axle to my trailer. I have 2 axles with the 8-201-9 6 to 5½ hubs and breaks. I cant find the size of the axle for the life of me. The only information I have is for the drum. 8-201-9 15245 OTR CUP 6 to 5½

It looks like the numbers you gave me are for a Dexter 6K axle. If you want to add another axle, then we have three options depending on the length of your current axles.

If your axles measure 86-1/2" from hub face to hub face, then part # 8327826-EB is the new axle for you.

If they measure 89", then use part # 8327830-EB.

If they measure 95", then use part # 7461121-EB.

Each of these axles are 6K Dexter EZ-Lube axles with 6 on 5-1/2" bolt patterns. The only difference is the length. I've linked to a video review of the 85" axle for you to look at.

If none of the above are right for you, then please let me know.
