Compatibility of 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Battery Connection with Bulldog 41000 Air Compressor

Question:

Hi..i have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The battery is under the seat and about the size of a cigar box. I have a positive post under the hood in case I need a jump start. Could I use the Bulldog 41000 compressor using the positive post and the frame for the negative with the motor running....Thanks.

The Bulldog Winch Compressor - 150 psi - Portable # BDW41000 you asked about will work well connected to that positive jump start terminal and grounded to your frame. That connection will supply the power you are seeking with or without the vehicle running. With the vehicle running you won't drain your battery but the power increase from the alternator won't be enough for any issue you'll just want the cables clear of all moving parts in that case.
