E-Bike Rack Solution for Rear of 2008 Hummer H3

Question:

So I would like to get a tire mount for 2 ebikes 70 lbs each. Is that possible? So our complicated rig is typical. We have an RV, towing a Hummer, and just bought 2 fat tire ebikes without thinking of how we were going to haul them. We want to use the swing gate on the Hummer so the bikes do not get in the way. Any thoughts? Thanks,

There aren't any tire mounted bike racks that have the weight capacity needed for carrying e-bikes like you have but there are hitch options. Your 2008 Hummer H3 may have came with a factory hitch but if not you'd need one installed like the Draw Tite part # 75382 so that you could install and use an e-bike rack like the # HLY64FR and you'd have a really great and safe solution to carry your e-bikes.

Not all e-bike racks are rated for use at the rear of a towed vehicle but this rack is. Also there are only hitch mounted bike racks available for carrying e-bikes as every other option can't handle the additional weight.
