The trailer wiring of a 2009 Mercedes ML350 is not multi-plexed. It's a separate wiring setup where the brake lights and the turn signals are carried on different wires. For trailer wiring the # 119250KIT is a great solution will install easily. It uses sensors to attach to the circuits of the vehicle and not splices.
