Replacement Tires for a 2016 Grand Design Solitude
Question:
My 2016, 34 ft, Grand Design Solitude tires are original. They appear to be in good shape but for safety precaution, I believe its time to change them. The size of my tires are ST-235/85R-16. I want a heavy duty tire as extra precaution. I see you show Kendra tires. Im not familiar with them. For some reason I thought you supported Westlake or Sailun? So, two questions: 1. Do you agree its time to replace my tires? 2. do you only recommend Kendra, or, do you also recommend Westlake or Sailun? Thank you and wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving.

For your first question, it's hard to tell without knowing more about your fifth wheel. Generally, 5-6 years is a good time to replace them. If you run them a lot, or if they are left in the open for extended periods of time, then that will affect that timeframe. However, with your Grand Design Solitude being a 2016 model, it's safe to say that now is a good time to replace them.
For your second question, we support both Kendra and Westlake tires along with a few others. Both are great companies and make quality tires. We don't sell Sailun as they seem to be more Canadian based (i.e. not because of quality, but more because of different markets). However, from what I can tell, they also make good quality tires.
For your upgrade, the Kenda Karrier Radial Tire, part # AM10295, that you referenced is a great choice and my recommendation. The are made of double steel belts and full nylon plies, making them sturdy and dependable. I've linked to a video review of this tire for you to look at.
