Troubleshooting No 12 Volt Battery Power To 7-Way Connector On 2017 Ram 2500

Question:

2017 Ram 2500 Diesel...I have no power from truck into 7 way blade in the 1 o’clock position. All fuses under the hood are good. What else can I check?

Just to be safe I would double check fuse # 30 has power to both sides of the fuse in your 2017 Ram 2500 as that is the fuse for the 12v power to the 7-way connector. That fuse is weird and is dealer part # 68144653AA which will need to purchased through your dealership if it is blown.

If the fuse does in fact have power to both sides you will need to trace the wire from the 1 o'clock 12v power pin of the 7-way connector back towards the fuse box and check for any cuts or damage that could be causing the power to not get from the fuse box to the trailer connector. If you find any damaged areas you will need to use butt connectors # DW05745-5 and wire # 10-1-1 to replace the damaged section.
