Recommended Tow Bar Base Plate And Wiring Options For 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
I have a falcon all terrain tow at that I use for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler. I want to tow my new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. I don’t have a custom bumper but want to install one at some point. What base plate would you suggest I use? Also what kit do I need for wiring up the tail lights? Assuming there is a kit.

There are baseplate options that will work with factory bumpers, and certain off road bumpers but they will not work on both.
For your factory bumper I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521453-5 which will work great with your Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522.
When you are picking a custom bumper I recommend picking one with 3/4" or 1" thick D-Rings which will allow you to use # RM-035 for 3/4" thick D-Rings or # RM-035-1 for 1" thick D-Rings. Both of these adapters will allow you to use your Falcon All Terrain.
For wiring your Jeep I recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-98146-7 which you can see being installed on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler in the video I included.
