Recommended Tail Lights for 2004 Toyota Tundra Flat Bed Conversion
Question:
Hi I have a 04 Toyota tundra which I am going to convert to a flatbed when I remove the bed. Are any lights available plug and play or will I have to splice into my vehicles lighting wiring? Will I need any sort of adapters?

I may have a solution for you, but there are not going to be vehicle specific plug and play lights for this application. I recommend using something like the Aero Pro Combination Trailer Tail Light # ST37RB (driver's side) and # ST36RB (passenger side), which are a 7-7/8" long x 3-1/4" tall incandescent multi-function light (Stop, Turn, Tail, Rear Clearance, Rear Reflex, Side Marker, Side Reflex). These lights can be spliced into your existing tail light wiring using some heat shrink butt connectors like the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 16-14 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Blue - Qty 5 # DW05744-5.
I've also linked our entire selection of lights you can look through to see what different styles are available, but you will want to stick with incandescent lights to match your existing system.
