Should Fifth Wheel Rails Be Masked Off When Installing a Spray-In Bedliner
Question:
Is it acceptable to apply a spray in bed liner with the 5th wheel hitch rails installed? I already have the rails installed in the bed and really dont want to remove them real pain. If so, is it OK to just spray the rails also or should they be masked?

At the very least you would want to mask off where the hitch attaches to the rails, but if it where me I would just mask the rails completely. That way if you ever decided you wanted to remove the rails from your truck you would not have bedliner over the installation hardware.
