Tire Chain Recommendation For a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with 30x9.5xR15 Tires
Question:
I have a 2002 Wrangler with 30x9.5xR15 A/T tires. The rims are Aluminum Clearcoat, CANYON 15 x 8.0 My drive is gravel, 700foot long, and on an incline. I plow with a SnoWay series 22 plow made for this vehicle. At least once a year I slide off my drive. Already happened this year, last week. Ended up in a 4foot snow drift off the drive. What chains would you recommend?

For your situation, I would recommend the Thule XB16 Tire Chains, # TH01571247, that you referenced. These are steel D-Link chains will work well in heavy snow and ice conditions and are designed for both on and off road use. These chains also offer rim protection and install over the top of the tire. I have attached a review video of these tire chains for you to check out.
The diamond design will also offer better traction over the ladder style design of typical tire chains. They are made of a manganese nickel alloy steel which will be much more durable than the more common low carbon steel and feature a 5 year warranty.
If you wanted a more economical option, I you could go with the Glacier Chains Tire Chains, # TC3210CAM. These chains feature the twist link design, but do not offer rim protection and are also designed to work off road. These chains are made of low carbon steel and come with a 90 day warranty.

Thanks John for the advice. The XD 16 chains sound like the way to go. Is your price for a pair of these chains? On check out it says qty of one, but in the narrative it says sold in pairs. Clarification please!
