Where Is the Crossbar Spacing Measured for the Thule 18 Cu. Ft. Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 JL Wrangler Unlimited with the Rhino Rack Backbone system and 3 Vortex Cross bars. I know the rear most bar will likely have to be removed for this installation. I am concerned about the spacing of the forward two bars however. When I read the minimum crossbar spacing is that center to center? Or is that Inside edge to inside edge? I am close to this value and obviously have no adjustability with the backbone system. Thanks.

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH629807 has a minimum crossbar spacing of 23-5/8" and a maximum crossbar spacing of 36-7/8". This is measured from the center of each crossbar.
