How to Carry 2-Bikes on Flat Towed 2015 Fiat 500

Question:

Could you please recommend a 2 bike rack to be used on a flat towed vehicle? One womens bike so I assume we would need a platform. Flat towed vehicle is a Fiat 500

I do have a solution for you, but it will involve a roof mount option as opposed to hitch mount since there aren't any hitch mount bike racks that are compatible with a flat-towed vehicle with a Class I hitch receiver.

For your application I recommend the SeaSucker Mini Bomber # 298-BM2006 because it eliminates the need to purchase both a roof rack setup and a roof mount bike rack; this is essentially a 2-in-1 deal. This does require you to remove the front wheels of your bikes so you'll need to store them inside your Fiat. Also, this system uses vacuum mounts which are very strong but there aren't any locks on them. To lock your equipment to your vehicle for peace of mind you'll need an anchor like part # 298-BA0020 or # 298-BA0010 as well as a cable lock like part # SA981.
