How To Level Blue Ox Tow Bar To Flat Tow a 2011 Buick Regal

Question:

Bought motorhome with blue ox tow bar with a 6 inch down. Have a 2011 Buick Regal. Bought base plate from you. There is a 8 inch difference between car and motorhome with the 6 inch down receiver. What is your recommendation to get the tow bar more level. Also I would like an option that allows me to carry a bike rack while flat towing if possible.

To level your Blue Ox Tow Bar I recommend the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-327 which has 15" drop or rise to be able to get your tow bar within the 3" safe zone on your 2011 Buick Regal. Since this ball mount has stacked receivers you will not have to use the included hitch ball, and can use your motorhome mounted tow-bar in whichever location needed to get within the 3" safe zone, and can use a bike rack or cargo carrier in one of the higher receiver openings with the tow bar installed.
