Parts Needed to Add 4-Way, 7-Way and Brake Controller to 2003 Ford Short Bus

Question:

Hello- I have a 2003 E450 short school bus with the 7.3 diesel. I would like to wire the bus to have lights for pulling a trailer with a flat 4. Id eventually like to ad a brake controller. Do you offer anything that is expandable? If not, I would be fine with starting with a flat 4 set-up and changing it out at a later time to accommodate a brake style set-up. Would it cause a problem with over loading the stock wiring by taping into it for running a flat 4? Is this the wrong way to do it? Should taping into the factor brakes, running and turn signal lights be fused? I can send phones of the style wiring I have if that would be helpful. Thank you! -

On a vehicle like your 2003 Short Bus E-450 that does not have any factory wiring you'd have to start with a 4-way to add a 7-way anyway so your best option would be to start with a 4-way for now like the part # HM40655 and then later convert to a 7-way with the # ETBC7 so that you can install a brake controller like the Brake EVN # TK63VR.
