Recommended Bike Rack to Fit Both 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches

Hello! Im looking for a 4 bike rack that would fit a 2014 Prius V. Do you have any available? Our other car is 2016 Acura MDX if that expands the options, but the Prius V would be preferable. Thanks!

It looks like your 2014 Prius v would likely have a 1-1/4" hitch and the 2016 Acura MDX would likely have a 2" hitch, but we do have some options that would fit both of those! There is one caveat with this, in that if your Prius has a Class I hitch, it will only be able to carry 2 bikes at a time; if the Prius has a Class II hitch, you can carry 4 bikes. You can usually determine this by checking the spec sticker on the hitch.
With that said, I recommend using the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # TH9025XT which will fit on both vehicles, since it comes with an adapter sleeve to allow it to also fit a 2" hitch in addition to the standard shank that fits in 1-1/4" hitches. The Apex XT can carry 4 bikes when used in a Class II or higher hitch, and can carry bikes weighing up to 37.5-lbs. I really like the Apex because it will tilt away from the vehicle to allow you access to the rear cargo area of your vehicle, and it comes with locks for the bikes and the hitch, so your investments are always protected.
