Adding a Clean-Looking 4-Pole to the Factory 7-way on a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado

I called Curt to confirm, and the T-Connector, part # C55774 will not fit in the factory hole in your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado's bumper.

If you're looking to replace the factory 7-way plug, then the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, part # PK11893, will fit in the factory hole. I've linked to a video review of this socket for you to look at.

If you're looking to add a 4-pole to your factory towing package and still keep a relatively clean, factory look, I recommend a different T-Connector from Curt, part # C55384. The 7-way port will plug in behind the 7-way already in your bumper while the 4-pole will be free to run under the bumper and out toward your hitch. The black wire loom keeps it looking uniform to everything else and the dust cap can be wrapped around the safety chain loops of your hitch to keep everything tidy.
