Recommended Bike Rack For Class I Hitch With Heavy Electric Bike

Question:

Im struggling to find a platform bike rack for a Rad Mini Step-thru that weighs 69 lbs with a battery, and 62 lbs without. My car, a 2015 Honda Accord Sedan, can only be fitted with a Class 1 1.25 inch hitch. Will Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack work for both my bike and my car? The instructions were a bit murky and I wasnt sure if the rack is ok for my Accord. Are there any other racks that will work for me? Thank you very much,

The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # TH903202 is the best option for your vehicle and hitch combination. It is rated for bikes up to 65 lbs so you will need to remove the battery.

This is the only option we have that currently will work for you.
