Ladder Rack Recommendation for 2015 Ram 1500 5-1/2 Bed with BAKFlip Cover

Question:

Hi, I own a Bakflip HD tonneau cover on a 2015 RAM 1500 5'7" bed without ramboxes. I would like to install a ladder rack over the bed. Could you advise what bed racks could fit around the cover? Would the Bak rack fit with this cover? Many Thanks,

There are 2 ladder racks that would work best with your BAKFlip cover on your 2015 Ram 1500 (5-1/2' bed) and these are the Adarac Pro Series # A4000965 and the Thule TracRac SR # TH43003XT-784. Both of these mount to the bed rails via the stake pockets and will allow you to use your BAKFlip cover normally (although you may need to adjust the upright bars back and forth so the panels will fit width-wise with the TracRac SR).

The main difference between these 2 ladder racks is that the TracRac SR is higher quality. The Adarac Pro is rated for 500 lbs and is more like a standard ladder rack while the TracRac SR is rated for 1,250 lbs, is easier to use, and is compatible with a wider variety of accessories.

We currently don't carry the BAK Industries Contractor ladder rack system but I'm sure it's compatible with the BAKFlip as well.
