Dimensions of the Curt Bumper Mount Trailer Hitch # E-3S

Question:

The existing bolt holes on my Expedition are 7 and 3/4 inches apart, center hole to center hole. It appears the Curt E-3S holes are 8 and 3/4 inches apart. My questions: 1. What is the width of the hitchs holes? If they are wide, then it looks like this hitch might fit, and they do look wide in the picture. 2. What is the width of the bolts that come with the hitch? 3. Ideally, could you look at the hitch, and instead of measuring the holes FROM THE CENTER, could you measuse the holes FROM THE MOST OUTSIDE POINTS? 4. Lastly, could you place the two bolts in the most OUTSIDE of holes, then measure from the center of each BOLT, and see if this is a MINIMUM of 8 and 3/4 inches? Thanks!

I pulled the Curt Bumper Mount Hitch, # E-3S, from the warehouse and made a video showing you the measurements that you were asking for. The wider holes, closest to the receiver opening, are 1-1/4 inches wide and accept a 3/4 inch diameter bolt. The bolt holes measure 10-3/4 inches at their widest points and 7-1/4 inches at their closest point.

With the bolts set at the widest point, they measure 9 inches apart on center and 8 inches apart at the closest point.
