Question:
ok i have a 07 250 super duty 6.and a half foot bed i had a pull rite 1900 installed in it when i got rv what hitch would i need to put in a 2020 super duty with the puck system on it to pull same rv .I never had any trouble with the 07 truck turning or any problems. We do highly recommend using a sliding hitch with a short bed like you have on your 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty. Even if you didn't have issues with turning clearance before, it is better to have the sliding system and not need to use it; otherwise you could easily run into a situation where, when making a sharper turn than normal, your trailer crashes into your Ford's cab.
Since the Pull-Rite you had looks to be a 16,000 lb capacity 5th wheel hitch, you can use the same capacity sliding hitch in your 2020 F-250 to pull your trailer. The 16k 5th wheel hitch I recommend that fits the puck system of your 2020 F-250 is the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package # C16520-16020.
The thing that's great about the A16 is its outstanding dual jaw system which makes full contact with your king pin to give you a comfortable ride. This means that the back-and-forth chucking, bucking and jarring that you get when towing with lesser hitches won't occur with the A16, so you can go on your journey more peacefully.
The hitch is also really easy to use because of its color-coded lock indicator which tells you if the jaws on the hitch are ready to couple, uncouple or tow. What this does is make the process of hooking up or disconnecting your trailer much simpler when using the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16520-16020.
