4-Way and 7-Way Connector Needed for a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Body Style
Question:
Are the connections for the 4 pin connector internal? Right now I only have a 7 pin plug but need a 4 pin for my utility trailer.

Yes, the connections for the 4-flat connector are internal on the Hopkins 7 and 4 Pole Connector, # HM40975. Once you plug the factory connector into the Hopkins connector, the 4-way and 7-way sockets will have power.
I attached an installation video on a similar truck for you to check out. Since you already have a 7-way connector on your truck, you will simply need to disconnect the factory connector from the 7-way socket and plug it in to the Hopkins socket.
