Best hitch for BMW X5 40e

For your 2016 BMW X5 40e I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 which has a 600lb maximum tongue weight rating, and 6000lb max trailer weight rating. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75600 allows for you to use non-trailer loads without needing a support strap where the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077 requires the use of Curt Stablizing Strap # 18050. I attached the installation video of the Draw-tite Max-Frame # 75600 on a 2016 BMW X5 for you to take a look at.
If you are planning on towing I recommend the Curt Wiring Harness # C56190KIT.
You will also need a ball mount and hitch ball like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, 2 clips and pins, and a carrying case for the kit.
