Weld on jack on my triton boat trailer, how do I take it off to replace it

In order to remove a welded-on trailer tongue jack you will need to cut off the old welds to release the mounting bracket. This can be done using an angle grinder. The jack can then be replaced with another welded-on option such as the Fulton Marine Jack part # FXP100W0301.

If you don't have an angle grinder or the skills to use one you can always leave the mounting bracket attached and just install a bolt-on jack in front or behind it, I recommend the Round Swivel Marine Jack part # MJ-1200B.
