Parts Needed To Install a Trailer Brake Controller On a 2016 Jeep Cherokee W/O Tow Package

I have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee without a tow package and Id like to know what parts I would need to install the Brake Controller part #39523. I already have the 4 way wiring harness part #118605 installed on this vehicle

In order to install a brake controller on a 2016 Jeep Cherokee without tow package you will first need to start with a 4-way trailer connector, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56208 is what I recommend. Once the 4-way is installed you can then adapt this to a 7-way, the 4 to 7 and 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7 is what I recommend since it comes with everything for the 4 to 7-way as well as everything else needed to wire in a brake controller.
