I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha and he informed me that there is a factory harness under the dash of your 2013 GMC Sierra that will have 4 wires. One will be ground, 12 volt battery, brake switch and finally brake controller output. The only issue is that the brake output circuit does not run to the trailer connector because you have the factory brake controller.

Basically, once you find that harness you would wire your P3 # 90195 to the ground, brake switch and power wire of the harness and then run a length of wire to the brake output circuit on the 7-way at the rear of your vehicle.

The brake output circuit will be run from your factory 7-way to the factory brake controller, so you will need to cut that wire so that your factory controller no longer is on the circuit and then splice in the output circuit of the # 90195 and it would be ready to.

Check out the FAQ article I attached. My contact did say that on the 2013 model trucks the harness is a little bit higher than the older models, so you may need to dig a little further under your dash to find the wires.
