Is the BOLT Lock on the Extang Encore Compatible With an Emergency Key Inside the Key Fob

Will the key that comes out of the fob work? And if not then what would a person use in its place?

Yes. BOLT locks are designed to accept the emergency key stored in the fobs of most vehicles, including the one on your 2020 Ford F-250, so you'll be able to use that to key that lock. This will allow you to use that key to lock and unlock the OEM BOLT Lock for Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover Manufactured after 2015 # EX28620172-28, or any other BOLT lock that has been keyed to that key.
