EcoHitch vs DrawTite Front Hitch for 2018 Ram 2500

Question:

2018 Ram 2500 Why is there such a large price difference for the Eco Hitch vs the Draw tite, when they essentially look the same and attach at the same place? And why are they rated differently? Is there really that much difference in construction or quality? Id like to buy the EcoHitch as fits in the grill area, and is not so low, and it is rated better 750lbs and 7500 tow line, but is it really worth the price difference?

EcoHitches like # 306-X7900 are typically a more expensive brand than others like Draw Tite. This is mostly due to fact they are Made in the USA and only made from recycled materials (hence the name) which adds a bit of cost. They typically have better designs or are more hidden than other manufacturers. Sometimes though they are essentially same design as other brands so it doesn't make as much sense to go with them. But in your situation where you prefer the EcoHitch design it's the way to go and worth it.
