What is Weight Distribution Capacity for Hitch that Fits 2020 Mazda CX-9
Question:
What does Weight Distribution Capacity mean? I see that it brings the capacity to 5000lbs

Expert Reply:
Trailer hitches sometimes have higher towing capacities when you use a weight distribution system with them like the Curt Hitch part # C13284. What a weight distribution system does is use spring bar leverage to distribute some of the trailer's tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle which ends up reducing rear suspension sag, improves handling, and braking. I attached a help article on weight distribution systems for you to check out as well.
The Strait Line system part # RP66082 would be a great option for a weight distribution system for use with this hitch.
