2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Brake Controller
Question:
I purchased the tow vehicle strictly to tow a 4,000 lb. Travel Trailer. RV dealer sold the Curt Echo Bluetooth brake Contoller to me. It applied the trailer brakes whenever I turn on the Jeeps headlights OR turn on the right hand signal for a turn. It has been a nightmare. Now Jeep dealer blames Curt and Curt blames the Jeep. HELP!!! I’m going to get a manual brake controller and hope it solves it. ???

So the earlier versions of the Curt Echo had some issues with the Ford Rangers and other newer vehicles due to the 12 volt accessory circuit which could be your issue if for some reason you got an older model Echo. But to bypass that headache and install a new hardwired brake controller like the Brake EVN # TK63VR all you need is the install harness # TK93VR.
