Travel Trailer Hitch that can Clear a 4-Inch Bumper
Question:
I have a Winnebago Minnie 2351DKS 2016/2017 travel trailer. I am looking for a 2 in hitch that will allow the 4 inch tube bumper that contains my sewer hose to remain and have the hitch reciever under the bumper. I currently have bolted to the bumper a 2 inch reciever and a bolt on spare tire. I am concerned that even with adding Mount-n-Lock SafetyStruts Heavy Duty RV Bumper Brackets it wont carry the weight of a 70 lb curt cargo carrier,40 lb cargo box, a predator 3500 generator and any other items I would like to store. Would this hitch work and mount easily? If not what can you recommend? Thank you for your assistance.

You are right to be concerned about overloading your bumper. While your bumper might be able to handle that amount of weight, I don't recommend testing it.
The Multi-Fit Hitch, part # 5350, that you mentioned is an excellent alternative. It measures 7 inches from the center of the tube to the front of the receiver, so it should clear your 4-inch bumper with no problem. It has a gross tongue weight of 500 pounds, so the accessories that you mentioned won't be a problem either. Of course, you need to check your Minnie's manual to ensure that it can handle that weight as well. I've linked to a video review of this hitch for your consideration.
Keep in mind that this extends from 24 inches to 46 inches. If you need something longer, then I recommend the Curt Adjustable Hitch, part # C13704, as it can extend out to 66 inches. This one measures 11 inches for the tube. I've linked to a video review of this hitch just in case.
