Do Fittings Come With Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler for 2016 Ram 1500
Question:
D15902 Install on a Dodge RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi. Do you have a list of all the parts needed to install this cooler on a Dodge Ram 1500 truck? It sounds like a special fitting is needed for the transmission connection. Is there a good installation instruction for it? Would this be the best dual cooler for this truck? Where does the oil connection come from?

The Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler with Multiple Threads # D15902 comes with everything needed for installation. It is a universal part that uses an Insta-dapt radiator adapter for the vast majority of 5/16" transmission lines, so it should work for your 2016 Ram 1500. If not you may have to cut or flare your lines, though this is rare. There is unfortunately no list or guide that tells us what you have due to the universal nature of these coolers.
I have linked the installation instructions below which are available for the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler with Multiple Threads # D15902.
This would be the best dual cooling option for your engine and transmission because of its 17" wide x 12-1/2" tall size, with the rule being with these coolers the larger the better in order to more fully agitate the fluid with space to cool it. The oil connection comes from the sandwich adapter attached to the filter, as noted in the linked instructions.
